AGARTALA, July 25 (TIWN): The Information and Cultural Affairs (ICA) department held review meeting on Monday.

ICA Minister Bhanu Lal Saha led the review meeting with ICA departmental official stuff at Directorate of ICA office Gandhighat.

During the meeting the overall yearly performance was discussed and also instruction for further planning were given.

ICA Dept. is responsible for all kinds of Govt. organized progammes and said to be the effective communication and act as a bridge between the government and the public.

News Bureau, Publication section and Rural Publicity centralized at the Directorate with their decentralized units at Block, Sub-division and District level, are the prime machineries to disseminate different types of information to the media as well as public.
