AGARTALA, July 24 (TIWN): In a protest rally Tripura Trinamool Congress condemned over the increasing crime against women.

According to TMC under Left front regime Tripura is witnessing its worst days. TMC condemned over the price hike, increasing crime against women, poor condition of Law and Order.

Whereas Tripura Chief Minister held Crime-Review-Meeting – 2016 to rejuvenate Tripura’s law and order, but in reality Tripura Laws have just remained for the name-sake and in whole North East whereas Tripura’s percentage would come first in Crime against women.

Basically, overall Law and Order was discussed there, and the 3 topics which CM raised are : Crime against Women, Traffic-order and accident and overall rules, regulation maintenance’.

It’s worthy to mention here that Tripura which has become the den for mafias, rapist—the women here are facing hard-times in regard oflaw and order situation inside state. Recent example is Rapist Panna Ahmed.

Chief Minister Manik Sarkar himself had ordered suspension of Ahmed with immediate effect and further asked the West Tripura District Magistrate and police authorities to separately inquire the incident and take appropriate action, but it Tripura Police had failed to catch the culprit until 18 days gap.

Belonia’s moving bus rape incident is another example of rape horror.

Torture against women is the everyday issue.  In this situation TMC’s mass protest raised voice against Crime-Against-Women.
