KAMALPUR, July 23 (TIWN): The bloody clash between CPI-M and TMC supporters spread even to the BSM Hospital. Amidst the presence of hopeless police the patients got in panic.

In the claustrophobic situation CPI-M LC Secretary and a GDP staff of the Hospital got a bit injured. Two among the five injured CPI-M cadres got shifted to GBP Hospital.

In the aftermath of the Halhali incident this morning, the wounded TMC supporters were under treatment at BSM Hospital and two shifted Ajoy Choudhury and Ratan Chanda were to be sent to GBP Hospital.

At that time, CPI-M cadres took one Shibaprasad Nag who was injured during the Halhali incident, from Nakashipara PHC and the doctors referred him to GBP and immediately sent him.

At this the TMC supporters protested as their wounded patients were left without making arrangements. A GDA staff Amui Mia got in support of CPI-M and started altercation with TMC workers and soon it turned into scuffling.

Then CPI-M Kamalpur LC Secretary Amar Bhattacharjee came forward to save Amui and got injury in his hands. At the instant situation turned grave as the party cadres started to show their muscle power and the common patients got in panic.

The SDPO, however, somehow closed the gate of the hospital and evicted the conflicting party supporters. Then another CPI-M cadre and Halhali injured Manindra Sutradhar got shifted to GB Hospital.
