AGARTALA, May 4 (TIWN): World laughter day observed at Vivekananda Park, Battala by Tripura Health & Laughing association. World Laughter Day takes place on the first Sunday of May of every year .

The first celebration was on January 11, 1998, in Mumbai,India, and was arranged by Dr. Madan Kataria, founder of the worldwide laughter association movement The day is now celebrated worldwide.The celebration of World Laughter Day is a positive manifestation for world peace and is intended to build up a global consciousness of brotherhood and friendship through laughter.In Tripura there is several laughter Clubs now is working.Today  All Tripura Health& Laughfing association celebrate 16^th  Laughter Day hear at Vivakananda Park ,Battala.AMC Mayor Prafullyajit Sinha  inaugurated  the program, Member in council Subra Deb was present on the occasion.
