AGARTALA, May 1 (TIWN): The Government Railway Police (GRP) has seized another big consignment of Eskuf cough syrup before it could be smuggled to Agartala.

1000 bottles of Eskuf syrup was seized by the GRP police at Jirania Railway station on Thursday afternoon, officials informed on today.

According to the officials, a consignment of 1000 bottles of Eskuf syrup was coming to Agartala from Assam. Police got information from their sources. So, as per their information the bottle consignments were thrown from the running train near Jirania station today.

 Eskuf is a cough syrup that many people use for a high instead of alcohol," Officials told here today.

A large quantity of fencedyl likely to come in the state within few days on the eve of Lok Sabha Result commenced on May 16,  Officials told.
