AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar addressing the audience at Najrul kalakhetra organized by TGTA for felicitating of top-rankers in Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examination, expressed dissatisfaction about the poor Madhyamik and HS result in the year 2016.
However, although Tripura’s rural schools are enormously suffering from lack of infrastructure, Chief Minister claims tall in TGTA progrmmme and said, “There is no lack of infrastructure and teacher shortage in schools, then why the result is not satisfactory?”
Whether there is a fall of -0.27 percent in Madhyamik result, than the last year—in HS there is 5.6 percent decrease in pass rate. In Mathematics the students passing rate is below 30 %, said CM.
CM further talked about the low number of students as first division holders, although the marking process has been developed in compare to the earlier years.
Irregularity of the students also a matter of concern, whether school is providing food and free of cost Education.
CM further blamed the guardian for lack of co-operation with the teachers and lack of communication with the school authority.
