Agartala, Sept 22 (TIWN) Tripura chapter of ‘Friends of Bangladesh’ has been formed here recently to campaign against the fundamentalist forces in Bangladesh.
In a gathering of intellectuals, academician, writers, poets, journalists, social activists, artists here at the Agartala Press Club, veteran citizen of Agartala, Professor Mihir Deb and social activist Mr Gautam Das, also the editor of Daily Desher Katha, a leading vernacular daily, have been chosen as president and convener of the Tripura chapter of ‘Friends of Bangladesh’.

A seminar, to be organised by the Tripura chapter of ‘Friends of Bangladesh’, will be held here on Sept 29. Intellectuals, scholars, academicians, writers, poets, journalists, social activists and artists from Bangladesh will participate in the seminar.
