AGARTALA, June 19 (TIWN): Assembly Dy speaker Pabitra Kar inaugurates blood donation camp organized by Smriti Club, Agartala.
AMC Mayor Prafullajit Sinha was also present during the programme.

While delivering speech Assembly Dy Speaker Pabitra Kar urged people for voluntary blood donation.

Whereas every year there are reports of blood unit’s wastage, everyday there are few blood donation camps in state, which not only wastes blood but also destroys funds.

From CM to Minister everyone is busy to attend in various blood donation camps across the state.

Although it’s between a day’s gap that CM and other  Ministers attend blood donation camps here and there but he is unaware of 134 liters of blood run to waste in 1 year.

Reportedly, in last 1 year total 134 liters of blood run to waste due to the lack of preservation facility in our state but on the other hand blood donation camps are getting organized daily in our state.
