AGAARTALA, June 11 (TIWN): Showing reason behind BJP’s non-interest for CBI inquiry against the massive corruptions held in state, Tripura BJP spokesperson Mrinal Kanti Deb said, ‘BJP will surely go for CBI inquiry in state, but as BJP is almost new a political group emerging as the opposition in Tripura, so BJP’s sudden attack on the ruling party (which is ruling since 22) years may damage BJP here fully as CPI-M will try its best to screw up the party’.
‘We agree that CBI inquiry is must, but strategically we are silent. However central’s support is with us in this regard’, said Deb.
‘But in West Bengal nothing happened to the leaders after Central ordered for CBI inquiry as TMC was the ruling party then and nothing exceptional for state Tripura too’, said Deb.
‘Just before the Assembly election if BJP goes for CBI inquiry, then nothing will be fruitful as left front is in power since 2 decades here’, said Deb.
BJP is also waiting for the Manipur Election and strategically the party will follow the steps to beat CPI-M, said Deb.
He further mentioned about political strategies which need to follow as ‘Guidelines’----to come in power. He further referred about BJP Crafts North East Democratic Alliance to Make the Region.
Just Assam had occupied by BJP, Tripura will be too------ as the North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA), a political group sewed up by the BJP recently, along with three regional parties to bring the party in power.
At the end he said, ‘Strategically BJP has stopped from the idea of CBI inquiry in Tripura, but CPI-M’s corruption will be outbrast soon by BJP, after the election result-2018’, said Deb.
