AGARTALA, June 3 (TIWN): Once again a housewife’s brutal murder has hit the whole Gomati District.
Talking to Ratan Das, SDPO Udaipur, it has been known that the incident occurred at Udaipur Radhanagar, under Kakraban and the victim has been identified as Rohia Bibi.

A case has been registered under Kakraban Police Station, Udaipur.

Police has arrested one in allegation named Karim Mia, father-in-law of the deceased. However, allegations are imposed upon the husband Babul Mia and also his mother Anowara Bibi too.

 The accused in their defense told police that Rohia Bibi committed suicide.

According to the family members of the victim, they said, it can not be suicide as they talked with her last day too, when there was no sign of this unwanted incident.

It’s worthy to mention here that being headed by two women officials (DM Gomati, SP Gomati), on the heart of Udaipur the place has remained fully unsafe for women.

Everyday murder of women, or tortures upon women is very common here and this form of domestic violence is most prominent for Gomati District since last few years.
