AGARTALA, May 4 (TIWN): Due to lack of various facilities Tripura Govt. has failed to attract tourists since many years.
It has been more than decades that Tripura lost its glory in tourism with the decline of number of visitors here.
Moreover, negligence has hit the ancient historical collections in state Tripura and many historical places, including temples is now almost in the verge of extinction.
Tourism Minister Ratan Bhowmik being in his post since years is also cold to take nay imitative.
However, with the beginning of rail service footballs may increase now. Tripura has been suffered a lot due to poor transport system, which also affected the tourism in Tripura.
In the 2016-17 budget session, an issue has been raised that what is the status of the Star Hotel which was to be established for the tourist.
However with all the problems Tripura is loosing its remaining glory in Tourism.
