AGARTALA, April 18 (TIWN): Daily lives didn’t affect at all for common people due to the strike called by Tripura’s opposition party Congress.
Although the party receives well response on Monday as no shops and bazaars had opened at all, during the strike, but the road was full busy as people rushed to offices with private vehicles.
Tripura ruling party has protested against the strike and during morning time bike rallies and gatherings by CPI-M members before their party offices neglected the strike.
In office time like everyday Agartala traffic posts were gathered by vehicles and traffic police found busy in controlling the traffic like everyday.
Overall, the strike has received a mixed response from the public of Tripura. But opposition came on violence in many places but police is in action, said report.
