Monday began with shutdown with Tripura Anti CPM party’s 24 hour’s strike

AGARTALA, April 18 (TIWN): The Monday morning in Tripura began with full shutdown after opposition Congress party called for a 24 hour’s strike.
No shops (Except Medicine stores) were opened across Tripura.
However, as Govt. offices and many private organizations including many private schools were opened so the road was full busy with private vehicles and bikes.
Rickshaw, bi-cycle were also available on the road. Hawkers with vegetables and fishes were also available.
Transport over public bus between West Tripura and other districts of the valley remained suspended, whereas TRTC were running.
However, reportedly, due to few unwanted clashes on private vehicles and organizations the situation went tensed little bit.
