AGARTALA, April 16 (TIWN) : Although private tuition has been banned in Tripura after the High Court order in 2015, but the business of Tuition is rampant here in the state till day. Reportedly, students of the technical institutes & as well as Degree colleges are fully dependent upon the private tuition for their every semesters.
On June 11, 2015, Tripura High Court had registered a suo-motu public interest litigation (PIL) based on a letter, which alleged that the teachers had been violating The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009.
Dramatically, the guardians in left front regime came into mass protest against the Court’s order and allegedly, teachers involved in private tuition have urged them to agitate.
As a result after the court’s order also, tuition business in Tripura is running in full swing with the Govt. colleges.
Tripura Govt. has also announced the state University’s session from the month of April. But question arises, about the quality of the Education set up here.
It may be mentioned here that the issue private tuitions in their homes and coaching centers is very common here after the warning of the High Court also.
