Agartala, April 16 (TIWN): As per Tripura Police press release, 3 NLFT militants surrendered before the authorities on Saturday.

Three NLFT UGs(under ground) namely (1) Sri Ganaram Reang @ Ganga S/O Sri Jibanda Reang of Fuldangsai, PS-Vangmun, North Tripura (2) Sri Danasai Reang @ Dakti S/O Sri Rabirai Reang of Hamlaiya Para, PS-Kanchanpur, North Tripura and (3) Sri Salendra Reang @ Salhum @ Kabitafa S/O Sri Rabijoy Reang of Twiklai, Konpui, PS-Anandabazer, North Tripura have surrended before Special Branch(SB) on 15-04-2016 night after crossing from Bangladesh.

They however have not deposited any firearms. These three are part of the NLFT contingent which has surrendered before DGP, Tripura on 11-04-2016 with arms.

Tripura Police authorities yet to release photographs of arrested ultras.
