AGARTALA, April 10 (TIWN): Tripura Chemist and Druggist Association on Sunday organized a free health camp at Badurtali lane, Agartala.

At the camp free check up of the people were done.

Besides, liver function test were also done during the health camp. Many people participated at the camp and took the opportunity to do free test at the camp.

It is to be mentioned here that health camps are one of the strategies adopted by both government and non-government organization.

This literally means that a team of health professionals conduct a camp in an area to carry out a limited health intervention. Unfortunately government pays little attention to the quality of sterilization service and trends to focus on targets.

Free health camps are mainly organized with an aim to provide people health aid and for the people who do not have basic knowledge about health and hygiene.

Besides, the people who have been facing various health issues and not being going to the doctors due to huge fee, at the free health camp the diseases are diagnosed and provided medicine.

However, the programmes are conducted in the target area where more people can get the benefit of the free health camp.
