KAMALPUR, April 6 (TIWN): In the incident of attack on the TSECL Kamalpur office on the night of India-WI semifinal match, the proceedings continued to adopt the natural way of course making the effort of ruling party a mere failure. And the three accused still remained in the jail custody.

On 31^st March last, during the India-West Indies semi-final match, some youths of Kamalpur threw stones inside the TSECL Kamalpur Office and abused the staffs and officials using slang languages. Then, the authority lodged a complaint with the police with specific names. Police nabbed the accused and produced them before the Court. The Court sent the three accused namely Subrata Saha, Dipankar Deb and Pradip Debnath in jail custody.

In the whole process, the CPI-M party leadership tried their best to mitigate the matter before knocking the Court. However, due to the strict stern of the TSECL authority the matter could not be mitigated. It might be mentioned here that, the service area of TSECL at Kamalpur got increased at least four times in last five to six years. But the man power of the Corporation decreased significantly. Hence the officials had to work till late night. Now, if the Corporation and the State government not adopt measures to increase manpower, then such incidents would be more frequent in near future.
