UDAIPUR, March 25 (TIWN) : Whereas the whole Tripura is under allegation for embezzlement of funds under MGNREGA, Gomati District is in race how to achieve more awards under this scheme.

Reportedly, Gomati Dist is holding many undeveloped places including Korbook, Amarpur and tribal areas of Udaipur, but DM of this dist. is achieving awards with highest man-days.

Presently, the officials of Gomati Dist. under the instruction of DM, are planning what to do in the next coming years.

It’s to be mentioned here for Tepania block, crores of funds was allocated, but after 2/3 years the situation is same.

The highest numbers of pogrammes in the name of ‘Beti Bachao’ are held at Udaipur, but DM is silent about the crime against women which has raised high.

However, after making 98 % man-days, this Dist. officials are in race to make it 100 %.
