AGARTALA, March 20 (TIWN): With the aim to celebrate the silver jubilee program of the institution of engineers, Tripura state centreon Sunday hold a press meet mentioning that the organisation is scheduled to hoist a weekly program from March 25 to 31 at Agartala.
Addressing the press meet on Sunday at Gurkhabasti the delegates of the institution of engineers stated that an inaugural ceremony of silver jubilee celebration and seminar will be held on March 25 at Nazrul Kalakshetra. Governor Tathagata Roy would grace the program as the chief guest.
However, the closing ceremony of the program would be done by PWD Minister Badal Chowdhury, AMC Mayor Prafuillajit Sinha, CS YP Singh, NIT Director Dr. Gopal Mugeraya and others.
The five day long program would held several programs including seminar on issues like power development scenario in Tripura and Bangladesh, power generation in NE region of India, High speed internet connectivity, rail connectivity and others.

This qualification is recognized by the Ministry of HRD, government of India, as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. The Institution of Engineers (India) was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1935.
