AGARTALA, March 20 (TIWN): State assembly is all set to hoist the second day of the budget session on Tuesday with more updates on the status of Tripura budget.
The Tripura assembly budget is designed for five days which is scheduled to be end on April7.
According to report, on the first day of the budget session the budget for the financial year 2016-2017 was placed.
Few bills including one for raising salary and allowances payable to members of the state legislative assembly are likely to be placed in the current session, a highly placed source in the department of Parliamentary Affairs said earlier.
The five days’ assembly session would conclude with appropriation of bills and resolutions.
It may be noted here that Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha is ailing and is now in Delhi for medical tests before undergoing surgery at the AIIMS.
The Cabinet approved proposals for filling up altogether 386 posts in some departments, including Industries and Commerce.

Minister Tapan Chakraborty who has been given the portfolio of Finance department has this task for the next 4 days to place the much awaited budget in the assembly.
