AGARTALA / BIJAPUR, March 18 (TIWN) : MP Jiten is the only hope for downtrodden and tortured people.Adivasi Adhikar Rashtriya Manch(AARM) and All India Democratic Womens' Association(AIDWA)'s joint delegation today at the Nendra Village, Bijapur District of Chhatisgarh, where allegedly more than dozen of adivasi women were gang-raped by a section of law & order forces during the period of 11-14 January, 2016, while their male members were arrested and tortured indiscriminately on the false charges of connivance with Maoists.

 The undisciplined forces were not stopped by looting the modesty of women only, they have also looted their most precious belongings, the livestock ie; goat, poultry birds, rice and small cash etc. It is unbelievable but true that the villagers are not aware of MG-NREGA. The village does not have a ICDS Centre, School, Health Centre yet and no motor able road.

According to MP Jiten” I have called both the DM and SP itself and confirmed the above fact at the Nendra Village, Bijapur District of Chhatisgarh . DM, Mr. Yeswant Kumar has assured me to distribute the Job cards soon and ensure them their rights.”
