KAMALPUR, March 16 (TIWN): The 13th edition of Kamalpur book fair got all set to begin journey from this evening. The five day long fair would be held at the Town Hall premise.
The former Mayor of Kolkata and former Advocate General of Tripura would inaugurate the fair.
As became customary, the leftist MLAs and different portfolio holders of CPI-M party would be present in the inaugural ceremony.
Regarding the fair almost fifty stalls got erected for the book sellers. Besides, grand stage had also been erected for cultural functions. However, the vendors had set their stands in and around the gate of the Town Hall.
It might be mentioned here that, due to the experience of devastating summer tempest last year, the fair got advanced in time this year.
