AGARTALA / TELIAMURA, March 13 (TIWN) : In yet another incident a woman left critically injured and admitted to GB, when a driver had hit her with his scooty. Another person named Ankit Sarkar has been injured due to the incident.
Reportedly, on Sunday afternoon, when a woman named Tulshi Das (42) was on the way to her home, a driver of scooty bearing number TR01T-5464 hit her from behind.
Tushi Das came to her parents home at Darikapur village, under Kalyanpur. Her husband’s home is at Agartala.
On Sunday, she was returning to her home at Agartala along with her son Sanjit Das (10).
As soon as they arrived at Baganbari, the black colour scooty with the above mentioned number hit her, along with her son and another pedestrian.
The driver has been identified as Naren Tati.
Due to this incident Ankit Sarkar and Tulshi Das had been injured.
Reportedly, no driving license has been found from Naren Tati, and he was wearing no helmet.
After that incident when the woman was brought to Kalyanpur Hospital, doctor referred her to GB Hospital.
The driver is in police custody now and his scooty has been seized.
