AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN) : K. Vijay Kumar, IGP, CRPF, visited GC, CRPF, Agartala to review the Administrative & Operational aspects of CRPF in the State. A presentation on “Adm-Ops Scenario and future plan and prospects of CRPF” was also made by Shri Ravideep Singh Sahi, DIG, Range, Agartala in the conference held at Sector Hqr, Usha Bazar, Agartala Tripura. Shri Sahi briefed Shri Kumar about the assignments of CRPF vis-à-vis to the prevailing Ops scenario of the state.

During  the visit of GC, CRPF, Agartala, K. Vijay Kumar, also visited “Hall of Fame”, which is dedicated to the Gallant Heros and legends of the Force who have brought glory and laurel to the Force.

 Kumar praised the efforts of Shri Sahi for creating such memorabilia in the memory of the Gallant Heros, who have attained martyrdom on the line of duty. Speaking about the current situation, he stressed upon the contribution and participation of the force in Nation building.

He emphasized the role of CRPF in combating insurgency, assisting civil administration in maintaining Law and Order and restoring peace in the state.

 However, he expressed significant progress in the assigned role of CRPF.
