KALYANPUR (Teliamura), March 7 (TIWN) : Keeping in view the upcoming Women’s Day, Kalyanpur block organized a one-day seminar programme at Kalyanpur PS.
The number of women were greater than the number of men during the programme.
The lead role was taken by Sabita Das, Vill. Panchayat Pradhan during the programme. The main parts of the discussion during the programme were : 1. Women’s Rights & 2. Traffic rules
‘Before 18 years no marriage can be done’ and if any family attempts to do that, it will be against the law, it was said during the programme.
The things in support of women were discussed as :
1. Do not torture women at home,
2. Society would take initiative to stop tortures upon women,
3. Don’t destroy own children’s lives with early marriages.
OC, Klayanpur PS Shanti Bhushan Bhuia, delivered lectures on Traffic rules. The points which had been discussion among traffic rules were :
1. To drive in control speed, 2. As high speed kills lives, so saving lives would be the motto of the drivers through slow driving, 3. Not to make any vehicle over-loaded as it increases risks of accidents, 4. Helmet is must while driving bikes. 5. Polices’ first duty is to maintain the peace of the local area, 6.The relation between public and police is to be increased more, 7. To abide by traffic laws are very important and using hamlet while driving is must, 8. Never drive while drunk,
However, against various kinds of pollution including the noise pollution was also discussed. A huge mass gathering was followed during the meeting.
