Agartala, September 16 (TIWN) Health Minister of Tripura Tapan Chakraborty on Monday said that an enquiry committee has been set up for investigating the bizarre incident at GB Hospital – premiere health centre of the State.

Speaking about progress in the enquiry, Health Minister said that Director of Tripura Health Services Dr. SR Debbarma is heading a committee which is currently conducting the enquiry. “   After enquiry if anybody or some are found guilty, there will be no cover up. Stringent action will be taken by the government” the minister added.

     Recently a patient named Ratan Das, small business of Ampinagar with mouth disease was operated in the abdomen with no reasons. A FIR was filed with the East Agartala Police Station by patient wife. saying that three doctors on duty on the day threatened her and her family members of grievous consequences if the matter became public.
