AGARTALA, Feb 3 (TIWN) : Union Minister of State for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises MSME Giriraj Singh in the first day of his visit held press conference at BJP office on Wednesday evening. After he had his visit at the Khadi Gram Udyog Bhavan in Tripura, Minister expressed his unpleasant experience in Tripura, especially in Agricultural field.
Talking to the media persons Minister pointed out that if the “chief” a state is strict to maintain the administration then the whole administration will be in control.
He also mocked at Tripura CM by saying that the overall growth of a state doesn’t depends upon how much the chief minister of a state is “wise” within himself, but the growth depends upon diplomacy, activities and administrations. “All is good, when administration of a state is good”, said Minister.
Giriraj Singh expressed his surprise over an issue that in every state there are many agricultural centres, whereas Tripura is far behind than it.
He mentioned whereas there are around only 37 lakhs of population, but the state is suffering from unemployment. On the other hand govt. has failed to sustain the farmers with modern technologies as well as pharmacies. So state Tripura needs to be progressed in this issue, said Singh.
He also emphasized on increasing the contribution of khadi and on creating more jobs for rural women in khadi sector by the means of khadi.
It’s to be mentioned here that Giriraj Singh is a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) politician from Barahiya, Bihar, India. He is the Member of Parliament from the Nawada constituency and a former minister in the cabinet of Nitish Kumar.
Singh served the Cabinet of Bihar as co-oprative minister from 2005-2010 & Animal Husbandry minister from 2010 to 2013. He has been a staunch supporter of Narendra Modi from the beginning. He publicly supported Modi for Prime Minister from long time.
He was among the eleven BJP ministers who were dismissed by Nitish Kumar as a result of breaking of JDU-BJP alliance. He is a member of Bihar State Bharatiya Janata Party's 16-member state election committee.
