Agartala, Jan 28 (TIWN): Union Minister of State for Drinking Water and Sanitation Ram Kripal Yadav held a review meeting of Tripura and Manipur on Rural drinking water and sanitation in Agartala on Thrusday.

Union Minister  Ram Kripal Yadav also visited  state Level water Testing Lab in  Agartala.

Union Minister of State for Drinking Water and Sanitation Ram Kripal Yadav has arrived today in Agartala on a 2 day visit to Tripura. The Minister after reaching Agartala attended the Retreat ceremony in Akahwra border Check post and also visited the Integrated Check post in Akhawra Border. He also met a team of Children from Jiribam of Manipur who are on a 7 day National Integration Tour to Tripura in the check post.

The minister also visited the state level water Testing Lab in Agartala and State Museum. Later a Review meeting of Tripura and Manipur on Rural drinking water and sanitation was held at State Guest House in Agartala. The meeting was attended by officials from Manipur and Tripura. The meeting will review the Physical and Financial aspect of different projects under National Rural Drinking Water Programme and Swatch Bharat Mission (Gramin).
