AGARTALA, Jan 28 (TIWN): expelled MLA Manoranjan Acharjee still today roaming free even after the allegation related to sexual abuse of minor was raised against him.
Police claims that charge sheet is filed but no action is taken.
This time as it is a case of a party MLA the issue came to limelight, otherwise every day the ruling party cadre continues to play with sentiments of the people but no action is taken against them.
Only due to the mind game of the ruling party, accused MLA Manoranjan Acharjee is out of the jail.
Loopholes in police investigation lead to release of the accused MLA Manoranjan Acharjee on bail from the high court.
the arrest of former MLA was just for the namesake to keep up the good image of the CM Manik Sarkar in the state. Only to save himself from the allegation of the opposition regarding the accused rapist Monaranjan Acharjee issue CM Manik sarkar with his police has played this mind game and saved his comrade from the punishment of the law.
It is to be mentioned here that the main accused former CPM MLA Manoranjan Acharjee was arrested on Saturday last with green signal from Tripura’s CM Manik Sarkar. Demands have been raised from different sources to arrest the accused. With demands rose from the different society police finally took the initiative and arrested the accused for the namesake as it was pre planned to arrest to release him within few days after his arrest.
Allegedly due to the loopholes in the investigation on the part of the police, and due to the lack of the evidence the accused was released on bail with an issue from the high court. It is worthy to mention here that police had lodged complaint against expelled MLA Manoranjan under section 354 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and protection of children from sexual abuse act but due to the negligence of police in the stage of investigation the HC has released him bail.
The planned strategy of the party shows that everything was done according to the plan of the big head sitting at Melarmath.
It is worthy to mention here that police has lodged complaint against expelled MLA Manoranjan under section 354 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and protection of children from sexual abuse act.
