AGARTALA, Jan 24 (TIWN): Tripura Government Homeopathic Doctors’ Association on Sunday organized 14th biennial State Conference at Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel.
During the programme, the member of the association has demanded to allow two-time homeopathy treatment facility in the centre.
They also urged to provide medicine and other essential items to the patients on time, to appoint pharmacist at every homeopathy centre, to provide proper allotment, to establish Ayush Directorate and many other demands has been placed.
Besides, they also placed a statement showing account of Tripura Government Homoeopathic Doctors’ Association.
Mentioning about the Chief Minister Relief fund, they mentioned that altogether Rs. 20, 000 have been donated.
Besides, mentioning about the disbursement of the association, they mentioned that the expenditure for the blood donation sub-committee was Rs. 5, 690.
It has been mentioned that Altogether Rs. 2, 845 was the expenditure for North and South District conference, Rs. 7, 145 expenditure for GB meeting, altogether Rs. 24, 474 for the convention of 2014, Rs. 82, 983 for the conference 2013 and others.
Homeopathy is a system of alternative medicine created in 1796 by Samuel Hahnemann based on his doctrine of like cures like, a claim that a substance that causes the symptoms of a disease in healthy people would cure similar symptoms in sick people.
The programme was inaugurated by Health Minister Badal Choudhury in the presence of Cheif Executive Member Radha Charan Debbarma, General Secretary of Tripura Government Homoeopathic Doctors’ Association, DHS Dr. J.K. Deb Verma and others.
