KAMALPUR, Jan 23 (TIWN): Like the previous year, the birthday of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose got celebrated with due pomp and homage at Kamalpur today. The program was organized by Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat and the sub-divisional administration and Inspector of Schools helped the program.

The program was started from the Fulchari market this morning. The Chairperson and the Vice-Chairman of the Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat, the SDM Subhasis Das, MLA Anjan Das and the students of different schools and different organizations participated in the rally. The rally roamed the different parts of the town. Then the rally assembled at the Netaji Corner. There the dignitaries paid floral tribute to the idol of the Netaji. The commoners also paid tribute to the immortal hero of our freedom struggle.

The students showed the diversified social scenario of our country. At the same time, the rally also produced different traits of our age-old tradition. The rearing up of our future citizens was well knitted-up in the rally.
