UDAIPUR, Jan 17 (TIWN): Udaipur CJM court on Sunday sent one rape accused to 11 days of Jail Custody till January 28 in allegation of rape of disabled women.

Kakrabon police under Udaipur has dragged one 35year old to Udaipur CJM court on Sunday in allegation of rape of a middle aged disabled woman at Tulamura area on Friday under Udaipur sub-division.

The accused is identified as Sukhlal Das (35) a resident of Udaipur Tulamura area.

Reportedly, in a tragic incident, a middle aged disabled woman was brutally raped by him who is also the neighbour of the rape victim. 

The accused was arrested and produced before the court on Sunday.

The incident took place on Friday when the woman came out of her house for walk and showing her the temptation he took her to an isolated place and raped her. Hearing the screaming of the women the localites reached to the spot and rescued her. Later the family members of the victim rushed to the Kakraban police station and lodged a complaint against him.

According to police, he took the woman to an isolated place and raped her.

The disabled women started crying hysterically after which the family members of the victim informed police and registered a case. 

However, police is further investigating the case.
