AGARTALA, Jan 15 (TIWN): On the last day of the Winter Session Tripura Assembly on Thursday, Minister in-charge of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department made statement over the topic of FCI to buy the paddy from the farmers with supporting value. The issue has been raised by MLA Manindra Chandra Das and MLA Tapan Chandra Das to make a statement on a matter of Urgent Public Importance. MLA Shyamal Chakraborty and Ramu Das have asked the minister in-charge of the Transport Department to make statement on the progress of the establishment of the Agartala – Akhaura railway line. Besides, Minister in-charge of the Education (Higher) Department was asked regarding various irregularities in absorption of Assistant Professor in the General Degree College by TPSC.The matter was raised by MLA Pranajit Sinha Roy and Diba Chandra Hrangkhawl. On a calling attention notice of MLA Samir Deb Sarkar, Ramu Das and Anjan Das has asked about the initiation of the work over the substitute National Highway to Minister in-charge of the Public Work Department.
Minister in-charge of the Education Department made a statement over the issue of the regularisation of the job of the contractual teachers.
The fifth day of the Winter Session Tripura Assembly was tabled by introduction, consideration and passing of the Tripura Appropriation (no. - 2), 2016 (Vote on Account) (Tripura Bill no.- 3 of 2016), consideration and passing of the Tripura Appropriation (No.- 3) Bill, 2016 (Tripura Bill No.- 4 of 2016) and Consideration and passing of the Tripura Appropriation (No.- 4) Bill, 2016 (Tripura Bill No.- 5 of 2016).
However, today is the end of the five day long winter session Tripura Assembly which has begun with the speech of Governor Tathagata Roy.
