Agartala, September 15 ( TIWN): Traffic unit of Tripura police during Durga Puja decided to take some special measures to prevent traffic congestion, a high official of traffic unit informed.
He said every year the unit always remains under immense pressure regarding issue of entry passes to private and commercial vehicles including two - wheeler' s.
This time applicants should submit photostat copies of - driving license, insurance clearance and registration certificate. Then only passes will be issued. It is to to be noted that during four days of Durga Puja entry is restricted in the city from 6PM - 12PM for private and commercial vehicles. Only those bearing the pass are authorized to enter.
Besides the official informed six temporary entry point will be set up in the outskirt of city Agartala and additional forces will also be deployed to assists the traffic unit.
