AGARTALA, Jan 11 (TIWN): Agartala Press Club on Sunday organized Annual General Conference.

During the programme of the annual general conference, receipts and payments account of Agartala Press Club from the period 1-12-2014 to 31-12-2015 were placed.

During the programme, Samit Dhar, Satyabrata Chakraborty and other senior members were also present.

Detailing about the new purchase, VIP visits and others, it has been mentioned that at the visit of press club – Bangladesh Chittagong photo journalist a total of Rs. 7, 780, Rs. 1, 190 for the protest rally against killing of journalists Sharly Abedo in France Media House, Rs. 1, 120 for Smaran Sabha of Surendra Paul, Rs. 1, 660 for the Smaran Sabha of Information Minister late Anil Sarkar, Rs. 5, 830 for the farewell of V. P Mahwar ONGC Asset Manager and Mohammad Obaidur Rhman –Visa Officer of Bangladesh, Rs. 1, 275 for media workshop with IGDCP, Rs. 650 for media workshop with I&CA and others.

Besides, the members also placed the accounts of the annual general meeting organized on December 7 and other accounts were also placed.
