KAMALPUR, Jan 5 (TIWN): After hours of struggle, the accident injured teacher of Maharani HS School, namely Amar Deb (35) succumbed to his injuries at ILS hospital around 3-40 am this dawn. He left behind his aged father, wife younger brother and only son. His untimely death took the area under grief. However, the rider of another bike which struck Amar going onto the wrong side, namely Biswajit Ghosh survived his injuries. Police registered a case in this regard.

Last afternoon, Amar was heading towards his home at Old Motorstand area with his TR-04-7499 numbered Glamour bike like other days in a moderate speed. He and his pillion rider and colleague Madhu Bhattacharjee was on their right side. When they reached the Kalachari area near the Panchayat office, then a Super Speldour bearing number TR-04A-6726 was approaching from opposite side. The rider of that bike namely Biswajit Ghosh (32) came on the wrong side and hit Amar with tremendous rush. At the instant, Amar lost sense as an impact of the collision and fell on the road. His pillion rider Madhu also got a bit injured. On the other hand Biswajit also got injured a bit. At once local people informed the fire brigade and shifted the injured persons to the BSM Hospital. Then the doctors shifted him immediately to Agartala in a critical condition. From GB hospital he was shifted to ILS hospital. There, the doctors tried their best but failed to make him survive.
