NFR set target to run BG engine to Agartala in two weeks

AGARTALA, Jan 2 (TIWN) : Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is all set to finish trail run of train engine on broad gauge track between Badarpur and Agartala within next two weeks, official sources said.
According to report, after successful completion and commission of first phase of Lumding-Silchar GC section, Diesel Broad Gauge Engine was rolled on successfully three days ago from Badarpur station (Assam) to Ambassa station (Tripura) covering a distance of 160 Km on newly converted line.
NFR authority has set a target to run the engine up to Agartala on or before January 15 on trail basis.
