AGARTALA, Jan 2 (TIWN): Construction materials left open in various flyover project site poses danger for the passerby and the residents over there.
Besides, despite of number of traffic personnel has been deployed in the capital, gigantic traffic has become a daily struggle for the commuters.
With the beginning of the construction work of the fly-over work at Battala, the issue of traffic congestions came into public eye with the massive traffic jam from Bordowali-Battala road, disrupting the convenient movement of traffic on the road during office and school hours.
It is worthy to mention that so much effort is being paid to construct the flyover for the convenient movement of the common mass and congestion free traffic. On the other hand, the construction work and lying of rods openly in some part of the project site poses danger for the common mass.
It is dangerous mostly during the office hour when huge jam is being observed. It seems that anytime any untoward incident can occur.
Though alternative route has been identified by the traffic department yet the roads remains clumsy during the office hour.
However, the road from Bordowali-Battala always remains clumsy with vehicles stuck in the jam during office and school hours as the flyover work is going on.
It is also to be mention here that the unorganised parking of vehicles at the middle of the road and loading and unloading passengers have disrupted the vehicle movement.
Besides, despite of strict instruction of the department day by day the vehicles commute passengers and unload the passengers on the mains road which also lead to traffic chaos in the city.
Public has been suffering immensely day after day and it is expected that it will continue until the flyover work gets over.
On the other hand, lack of parking zone also adds fuel in to the chaos of traffic jam causing harassment for the people.
