KAILASHAHAR, Jan 1 (TIWN): Aiming for the development of the Kailashahar, with the initiatives of the District Congress a six hour sit and demonstration will be organized on January 2.

The demonstration will be organized in front of the District Congress Bhawan at 1 pm.

During the programme, Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee President Birajit Sinha is also scheduled to participate at the programme.

At the press conference it has been mentioned that if the demands are not fulfilled within 15 days than the committee will organize a massive protest on January 28 and will hold 12 hours bandh in the area.

Besides, District Congress President Badarud-jamman on Thursday said that for prolonged many days the committee has been placing deputation to the District Magistrate but yet today no initiatives have been taken regarding the demands.

Therefore, the District Congress is bound to hold the sit and demonstration and if the demands are not fulfilled than the committee will not think twice to go for road blockade.

The demands are to complete the renovation work of the Kumarghat-Kailashahar National Highway, to take legal action against the cheat fund company which has looted the money of the common people, to set up a technical college at Kailashahar, to provide safe drinking water and many other demands to fulfil.
