AGARTALA, Dec 30 (TIWN): A six-year old minor died after he slipped in to a pond while playing in the adjacent field on Wednesday.
The incident took place at North Naraura Area under Bishalgarh sub-division.
The diseased has been identified six year old Imraan Hussain.
Reportedly, the minor died after he drowned in the pond. Within 10min people jumped to save the child but could not save him.
However, the family do not have any complaint regarding anyone.
Just 24 hours ago a body of an unidentified infant has been recovered from the Capital by the Battala Police.
However, if we go through the earlier reports, the capital as well as various interior parts of the State has virtually become a dumping ground for bodies.
Reports of the unidentified dead bodies have become a daily feed for the news papers and the channels in the State.
It is to be mentioned here that infant bodies have also become rampant in various area in the capital and in the interior parts of the state.
Bodies of several persons who have been killed are thrown on roads, drains, railway tracks and secluded areas and they are unidentified.
However, the State has become a hub of crimes where one after other day heinous incident related to murder is reported from every corner and police is simply playing the role silent spectator.
