AGARTALA, Dec 30 (TIWN): On the occasion of the New Year celebration, Governor Tathagata Roy & CM Manik Sarkar extended his war wishes for the common mass of the State.
In his message, Governor Roy has expressed greet for happy and prosperous life of the people. He wished everyone a very Happy New Year.
Besides, he also urged the people to keep aside the differences within people and to make a great beginning with the starting of New Year.
Expressing prosperity in the New Year, He mentioned that the New Year will be a new beginning for prosperity in the State. Besides, the celebration will bring the people together by forgetting all the difference among each other.
Similarly, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has also greeted the people of the State.
He further urged to celebrate the festival peacefully and to spreads the message of love and brotherhood and helps to further strengthen the bonds of social relationship.
However, just after the celebration of the Christmas, the people of the State are all set to celebrate the New Year with bright colours and decorative lights.
People were observed busy in buying new cloths, accessories for the New Year. Besides, teenagers are busy in buying greetings for their loved one and exchange of gifts among the families and friends.
