KALYANPUR, Dec 28 (TIWN): Lives have become miserable due to lack of purified drinking water in Garia Dafandar Para situated at 6 KM away from Kalyanpur DWS office. However, this scenario is nothing new. Generally people from Tripura's rural and Tribal areas are the common sufferers from such kinds of problems.

According to the reports, near about 200 tribal families are used to live here. People were demanding for purified drinking water from long years. But DWS office is in deep sleep. No one is there to hear those people’s voice.

Government allotted lacks of rupees every year for drinking water sanitation project in rural areas but no work is done by the authority, alleged locals. Even any ministers of our state don’t take any kind of information about what kind of facilities they are providing in tribal areas. They are very busy on promoting CM’s so called “Golden Era period” of our state.

Even polit buros have gone to other state to create election plan for that state’s assembly election and stay so many days but  they never go to any tribal areas of our state to hear their problems and never ever stay at any tribal area who gave their valuable votes to these ministers on the assembly election .
