KAMALPUR, Dec 22 (TIWN): The East Dalucaharra health sub-centre is suffering from water crisis since many days.
Nobody knew whose fault turned the situation so grave, whether, the DWS to blame for this, or the Health Department itself is responsible for the lack of water. Though, the internal water supply system was set at the time of inauguration, but those machines remained unused.
While talking to the TIWN, the only staff of the sub-centre Manindra Debnath, MPW expressed the scenario. The Surya Laxmi Debbarma memorial sub-centre was inaugurated way back in 2011 with much pomp. The building was set with electrification and internal water supply system. In that sub-centre, one Homeopath and Ayurvedic doctor used to treat patients in alternative three days each. However, the sub-centre remained out of the internal water supply. The pipe lines, water tapes all left useless as not a single drop of water came out of it. As a result, the employee had to fetch impure water from the nearby tube well.
But why the water connectivity not set, remained the matter of concern. The employee could not say anything about it. But, in the so-called ‘golden period’ such fate of a health sub-centre showed the lacklustre attitude of the administration.
