AGARTALA, Dec 20 (TIWN): State Engineers’ Association of Tripura on Sunday organizes 47th Annual General Conference at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan.

Speaking at the programme at the inaugural programme of 47th Annual General Conference of State Engineers’ Association of Tripura, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar said that for every construction in the State the quality of the materials used in the construction should be maintained.

Besides, he also urged the Engineers to complete the work on time so that the State’s public do not face any harassment due to the construction work.

As the quality of the work decides the ability and honesty of an agency or engineers, the engineers should maintain the quality of work, said CM.

During the programme, a seminar session and Business session has been organized. However, Business session was only for members.

However, during the programme PWD Minister Badal Choudhury has releases ‘NIRMAN’, in the presence of Sr. Director of the Energy and Resources Institute Mili Majumder and others.

The State Engineers Association, Tripura was initially formed as the “Tripura Graduate Engineers Association”. And from the year 1963 in view of acute unemployment problem of engineers, Tripura PWD started recruiting Graduate engineers in the post of overseers allowing seven advance increments.
