KAMALPUR, Dec 14 (TIWN): The so-called ‘golden era’ of the state assured more and more prominent victory in elections after elections for the left front in the state. On the other hand, the rulers made it a habit to deprive the commoners of basic amenities of life and living. And now and then the scenario remained the same even after repeated requests from the part of the commoners.

Such an incident occurred recently at Rakhaltali market area under Salema R. D. Block in this sub-division. There the businessmen and local people got deprived of water facility for more than a month. And it happened as the only source of water became out of order. According to the local people, the water source was set from the Salema Block almost two to three years ago. 

During the period, the source provided them water with occasional non-functioning. But this time the problem reached to the highest extent. For more than a month, the source collapsed and ceased to provide them water. Hence they had to collect impure water from the areas very far from their market. They requested the authority to remedy the problem several times. But the problem not got remedied yet.

When the inhabitants there would be able to get water for their life and living remained the matter to be seen.
