AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN): State Engineers Association, Tripura on Sunday organized 47th West Zonal Conference at Mukta Dhara.
To mark the 47th West Zonal Conference a seminar on Smart City Mission has been organized.
Speaking at the programme, District Magistrate (West) Millindh Ramteke stated that the State also had to pay for the Smart City Project. Regarding the progress and initiatives of the Smart City Project a Government level meeting will be held on December 16, said Ramteke.
Further the documents will be sent to the Central for further progress.
However, mentioning about the wifi zone in the state he said that some areas of the state has been brought under the wifi zone.
The State Engineers Association, Tripura was initially formed as the “Tripura Graduate Engineers Association”. And from the year 1963 in view of acute unemployment problem of engineers, Tripura PWD started recruiting Graduate engineers in the post of overseers allowing seven advance increments.
During the programme, Engineer R. K Majumder, Kajal Banik, Himangshu Roy and others were present.
