KAILASHAR, Dec 8 (TIWN): Last phase of election campaign finally completed at Kailashahar sub-division. On the last day of campaign huge rallies has been observed of all the political parties.
Besides, work is going on at the booth office. Detailing about the number of centre in the Kailashahar Sub-Division it has been mentioned that for the 15 ward of Kailashahar Municipal Council area, altogether 18 vote polling centres has been installed.
Returning officer Ajit Sukla Das has invigilated the polling booths.
In order to maintain law and order, it has been taken notice that within 200 metre of any polling booth no political party can set up any party stall.
Reportedly, altogether 100 polling personnel are allotted for the upcoming ensuing civic poll of Kailashahar.
However, the election is schedule to be held on December 9.
Besides, troops of BSF and Tripura State Rifles (TSR) are intensifying joint operation including patrolling along the border and keeping a close vigil on the movements of people along the border.
To ensure a violence-free election and to avoid any pre-poll untoward incident, a full-proof security arrangement has been made by the administration.
However, Sub-Divisional Magistrate of all the sub-division will provide EVMs to the polling personnel of the other sub-division.
All the political have completed their campaigning within Monday. Therefore, the since Monday morning all the political parties are enthusiastically holding rallies and addressing the mass urging for votes.
In order to add colours and enthusiasm in the rallies, the political parties are conducting rallies headed by bike riders and scooty riders. Besides, they are also playing songs in support of the concern party.
