SILCHAR / AGARTALA, Dec 4 (TIWN): Suresh Prabhu assured 2 express trains to run on Silchar-Guwahati route by Christmas for the greater interest of the people of Barak Valley. He also assured of running two express trains – Samparka Kranti Express and Kanchanjhanga Express – on this line by December 25, the Holy Christmas Day. The trains will run up to Kolkata and Delhi.

The Karimganj MP pushed this idea while submitting a Memorandum to rail minister in new delhi  by explaining that such train services could soon be extended up to Agartala, Aizawl and Imphal.
