SABROOM, Dec 1 (TIWN): As part of their social responsibility, BSF 60BN of Sabroom in South Tripura has organised free medical camps and provided free medicines to the effected people in Malaria outbreak at several villages under Sabroom Sub Division of South Tripura districts of Tripura.
BSF 60BN in a press communique said that BSF in addition to the primary task for guarding of frontiers, BSF has always extended its helping hand in the welfare of the bordering population by conducting Civic action programmers, medical camps etc.
BSF in addition to its prime responsibility has also rushed to help the malaria victims in the state of Tripura. Medical team of BSF, Tripura consisting of doctors, nursing assistants rushed to the malaria affected areas and provided free medical covers to the effected people in the interior area under South Tripura district .
The medical teams of BSF have treated more than 259 civilians and provided free medicines to the effected people. BSF Malaria teams also undertaken free blood test for malaria among civilians and TSR personnel. Medical teams delivered lectures on preventive measures to be taken from malaria by visiting villages located in remote areas. Malaria cell of BSF is keeping a vigil about malaria disease and extending all helps to the village people of Sabroom in the malaria endemic Zone.
