SABROOM, Dec 1 (TIWN): Ludhuya Tea garden labours attacked a resident Manmohan Das and his son Niranjan Das near Sabroom Ladhuia Tea Garden on land related issue.

According to source, Ludhuya Tea garden labours willfully harassed Manmohan Das , his wife Mina Das and destroy his house and house accessories. They claimed that the House land of Manmohan Das’s House belongs to Ladhuia Tea State for 50 years. They always irritate the land owner and took law in their own hand and today they cross their limit as they are CPIM supporters.

The Local people tried to resist their attack but fail to resist. Situation remains tense. Though Manmohan Das meet OC Sabroom but OC denied taking any case against Tea garden labours due to political pressure
